Informed Teaching Program — Overview of the Courses
The Informed Teaching Program is designed for trainee Alexander Technique teachers, qualified teachers seeking deeper skills, and somatic or wellness professionals wishing to refine their practice. Each course may be taken independently or can be used in order to provide a comprehensive overview of teaching method.
Each of the nine stand‑alone courses explores a core dimension of Alexander Technique pedagogy incorporating the perceptual skills, conceptual frameworks, and practical processes that sit alongside our hands‑on work.
Every course follows a clear learning architecture: clear definitions, exploratory tasks, real‑life teaching examples, and practical assignments. This structure ensures that each concept becomes teachable, usable, and grounded in experience rather than theory alone.
To support meaningful application, each course includes practical activities and guided tasks that help you integrate the material into your teaching. On completion of each course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion, suitable for CPE and professional development records.
Each of these nine courses offers 60 hours hours of structured study — a depth of learning comparable to a substantial phase of Alexander Technique teacher training.
